One SocialVideoSaver policy across different networks
SocialVideoSaver applies the same bounded handling to public links from different networks even though their media responses vary. The resolver uses the URL, job state, selected output, timing, and byte evidence. Protected visitor signals support quotas and security. Source platforms keep their own privacy practices, while temporary results and browser-side preferences follow the controls described here.
Version of 26 August 2026. SocialVideoSaver describes data handling across its network tools without combining your activity into a public profile.
1. What this policy covers
SocialVideoSaver applies these rules to its cross-network interface, directory, help channel and private handoffs. Each connected network continues to set its own privacy terms.
2. Information processed
- Submitted links: the public URL is sent to the resolver so it can detect the source and return formats.
- Operational data: request identifiers, coarse timing, status, byte totals and privacy-protected visitor or IP hashes help prevent abuse and diagnose failures.
- Contact messages: name, email, subject, optional public URL and message are stored in the private control center.
- Continuation links: an opaque token maps to the cleaned public media URL in the control database. The URL is not embedded in the token or QR code.
- Device-only preferences: recent-link history, format preference and private-mode choices stay in browser storage unless you clear them.
- Local media tools: a file selected on the local-tools page is read into temporary WebAssembly memory in your browser and is not uploaded to Social Video Saver. The local result disappears when you close or reload the tab unless you save it.
3. Why it is used
SocialVideoSaver processes network and job facts to keep each provider route accurate, deliver requested outputs and balance capacity. Protected aggregates assist support and security review.
4. Temporary media and retention
SocialVideoSaver expires delivery links and clears transient network outputs instead of archiving them. Reliability evidence is limited, contact submissions remain through handling and private cross-device references can be removed.
5. Service providers and upstream platforms
SocialVideoSaver reaches the selected network together with its configured hosting, database and egress services. Optional partner features never turn internal credentials into public link parameters.
6. Cookies and local storage
SocialVideoSaver uses first-party identification for network quotas. Cross-source preferences and recent public URLs may live on the device, subject to Private Mode and the browser's delete controls.
7. Your choices
SocialVideoSaver lets you avoid a network entirely, disable new local history for a private check and clear device data. Its contact channel accepts privacy and deletion requests. Open the contact form.
8. Children, security and changes
SocialVideoSaver does not address children younger than 13. Cross-network operations use reasonable protection, not a guarantee, and major notice revisions will show when they took effect.
